If you're reading this, chances are you are engaged! â€‹ CONGRATULATIONS!!

What an exciting time of your life! I imagine that you're also here because you're considering a professional officiant. It's a big choice and can feel a bit overwhelming, but that's where I come.

My name is Wes and I love to officiate weddings! More than that, I love to be a part of the beautiful story of two people joining their lives together. It's a beautiful thing and I can't get enough of it!

Picking an officiant for your wedding is a very important step. This person will be doing 90% of the talking at YOUR wedding. That's a lot. So you don't want just anyone. (Here's why). You want someone you connect with and trust. And that's always my goal.

I take the time to get to know you. I want to know your story. I want you to know mine. I want you to feel a connection so when I say the words, "You may be seated" and we begin one of the most important 15-30 minutes of your life, it will be a friend saying it, not a stranger.

I would love to chat more with you about your wedding. Check out my reviews and packages and when you are ready, click the Contact button and let's schedule a time to chat about your big day!!

Once again, congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Wes was very professional and fun to work with, and really gave us artistic license with our ceremony and vows. We felt that he helped us to create a memorable and personalized ceremony. All of our guests complimented his delivery and charisma, and thought it was a beautiful ceremony...

Wes did a fantastic. We met over a video call to get to know each other as well as discuss what our vision was. We wanted a brief non religious ceremony and he did just that. Wes did a great job and performed the ceremony exactly how we had envisioned it.

Wes was such a help leading up the wedding and afterwards with any questions we had. He told us exactly what we needed to do before and after so we were prepared. Everyone adored what he had to say during the ceremony and he couldn’t have been better! 6 stars if I could!

Wes was extremely kind, professional, and friendly at our wedding and throughout the whole process. We still rave about him to family and friends today. I highly suggest using Wes for your Officiant needs. Thanks Wes for making our day easy and awesome!

FAQs
  • Why do you love weddings?
I love everything about it. Being around people on the happiest day of their life never gets old. Giving couples the ceremony that they have always dreamed of gives me life! Experiencing different cultures and beliefs has taught me so much. I truly am so grateful that I get to officiate weddings.
  • What denomination are you?
I am not affiliated with any denomination.
  • Will you do a non-religious wedding?
Yes. My job at your wedding is to marry you. It's not for me to make a point or to preach. If you have multiple faiths present or you aren't religious, I am completely fine officiating a wedding for you and making it exactly how you want it.
  • What are your fees?
The range is $350-$500. Depends on what you want! There’s an elopement package, a ceremony package and you can always add to each package. Check out my package service options for more details on what each includes.
  • Do you come to the rehearsal?
Most venues don't do formal rehearsals any longer. Any rehearsal will happen the day of and it's mainly for the bridal party to learn how, when and where to walk. Unless your ceremony has a lot of moving parts, I don't need to be there. Of course, if you want me there, we can make it happen.
  • How do I get my marriage license?
Once you are inside 30 days from your wedding, you can apply for your marriage license. You and your fiance will head to the local county clerk's office and bring 2 forms of government issued ID. (Ex. Social Security card, Driver's License, Passport.) Once there you will prove your identity, pay the application fee and fill out and sign the form. They will then hand you a manilla envelope (some counties give you a white envelope) and once you have that you are done! Just bring that to me at the rehearsal or wedding and I will take care of the rest. 15 minutes before the wedding I will sign the marriage license and then I will give it back to you so you can take it back to the county clerk's office where you applied! They will give you your OFFICIAL marriage license back then!
  • Do you require pre-marital counseling?
Not at all. You are adults and can make the best decision for you! I do recommend it though. Not only do you get a discount on your marriage license, it's always good to talk. Pre-marital counseling requires you to talk about things that you wouldn't normally talk about and can help buld a strong foundation for your life together.
  • How long does your wedding message last?
That really depends on what you want! This is your day! If you didn't add anything to the template I set up for you, then it would last around 15-20 minutes.
  • How early do you come on the wedding day?
I typically arrive 30 minutes before the wedding. That gives me plenty of time to check out final look of the venue, sound check and go over the ceremony with both the bride and groom.
  • What do you wear to the wedding?
A suit. I typically will try and match what the groomsmen are wearing. So if they aren't wearing a jacket, I might take my jacket off as well. I don't want to be underdressed or overdressed.
  • What is your goal when you officiate a wedding?
Besides making sure you are legally married, my goal is to make sure the ceremony at your wedding is everything you dreamed it to be. This is YOUR wedding and it should happen how you have dreamed it would happen. This isn't about me or anyone else. It's OK to be a little selfish on your wedding day!
